After years installing doors and drive systems all over the country for many different manufacturers, we decided to take a sidetrack and start producing the world's best hangar door operators.

We have seen and worked with what the industry has to offer and knew there had to be a better way, so we built it. We used our years of experience to create an operator that is not years, but decades ahead of anything else.

Our Hangar door operators come ready to go, no electrician needed to install expensive power cables and breaker boxes. we include everything you need because our units are battery powered.

In the event of a power outage or a natural disaster our hangar door operators will still work because they are battery powered. We also engineered our operators to crank up off the ground in seconds to enable manual operation of the door.

The straightforward design of the Sidetracker requires no maintenance other than plugging it in to an extension cord every few months.

One issue we run in to with other drive systems is that concrete is rarely flat and without a way for the wheel to adjust for the uneven surface the wheel has a hard time maintaining traction or is trying to lift the door off of the ground. we solved that with our proprietary suspension system
